Care for leather
** important information for the durability of your leather products for extended use **
Leather is basically animal skin and is a completely natural product. By nature, it not waterproof. Although, all my pieces are coated by a water-resistant varnish that will keep them safe from the occasional incidents here and there, please try to avoid any water contact on the products. Do not soak or wash. When contacted to water, leather products absorb water, the moisture warps the leather and washes away the stain. The repeated exposure to water eventually rots the leather and weakens it to the point that it will snap with any small pressure.
Just like you do for your leather jacket or shoes, you can use many great leather care products available on the market when you need to condition my pieces and reseal them.
